Water off the deck roof is slowly coming |
Water coming off the high roof is a problem! |

Big puddle; get your rain boots and come on over! What do you mean, you don't like to splash around in big puddles? |
So, what excitement is happening in your world this weekend?

Today's Weather Report
Clear, bright blue sky (though there are supposed to be some clouds, somewhere). Temperature of 1C (34F), supposed to rise to 3C (37F), but we've already passed that. If this keeps up, we might get spring in a couple of weeks. Or else some flooding (Boo! Hiss!).
Yayy! Spring is definitely coming to the Bear's neighborhood. That makes me very, very happy. Lots of smiles sent your way. :-)
ReplyDeleteThanks, DJan. With weather, one really never knows for sure what will happen. Today's developments are "promising."
DeleteI can feel the joy and smiles all the way up here. Thanks, again.
Blessings and Bear hugs!
Gonna be snowing here again this week. That's it!! I am channeling pansies :-)I'm glad you have melt!
ReplyDeleteLove
kj
Fret not, kj. We'll probably get some more snow before winter is over. Channelling pansies sounds interesting, but I'll not get into the technique. I hope it works for you.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs to you and JB!
I always loved watching snow falling through the streetlights and car lights at night. I always loved the morning silence of pure snow, untouched. BUT SLUSH!? HATE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteSnow is such a delight, as you have noted. Slush; not at all!
DeleteHow much snow does one get in an average year in Floruba?
Blessings and Bear hugs!
Even the curbside icy pile ups from repetitive snow plow actions seem to be melting today here in NYC. And so I agree...it's melting. Something tells me that we still might see a few more flakes in this surprising month of March.
ReplyDeleteBear, I did finally click on the music video...and realized that I had heard that tune before. I am not much on country music, but did think the lyrics were bouncy. Still haven't quite finished my knitting project. Maybe this week.
xo
Ice and show have to go! I'm sure they will, eventually. Glad you got on to that music video. Bouncy, indeed. And happy knitting; don't get strung out.

I wish it was like that where I live!
ReplyDeleteCondolences on your weather. I'll come by your place and check on the latest.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
I've come to understand Spring in these parts is known as 'the mud months'. Come to think of it lots of people wear Wellies six months of the year. We have no flowers yet, but there are hints of early greening if I look closely in the right places.
ReplyDeleteI hope you have nothing but melt and flowers to follow soon.
I'm sure the many benefits of spring will be with us reasonably soon. We have a large foyer inside our back door, affectionally knows as "the mud room," for very good reason. You know what I mean. Hope your spring is soon in the "delightful" category!
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs. Best regards to Crow.
Isn't it wonderful. I found crocus and other bulbs coming up in places where the snow has melted away.
ReplyDeleteSpring is in the air!
Wonderful! That reminds me to keep en eye open for them up here! Hope you keep having great weather.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
I DO like to splash in puddles. I never felt happier to see a few of them than I was this week. Though that was just on the roads.. we've still got a few feet of snow everywhere else. Enjoy your melt, Bear. And hopefully true spring will soon follow.
ReplyDeleteThe melt is going well. At 11:00, the temperature is 0C, on the way to 2C. Please don't play on the roads; we would all miss you if a car came along when you weren't looking! Looks like spring is possible!
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
We have been having rainy nights in Bend ... I LOVE sleeping when it's raining. No broken molars, Bear ... the Jelly Belly poem was pure unadulterated fiction.
ReplyDeleteI love sleeping in the rain. Or doing other things in bed. (Like reading.) Delighted to know you've got no broken molars! That would such a nuisance!
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
Nothing to melt here, but in a few months it will be so hot that I'll be melting.
ReplyDeleteLove,
Janie
But think of it this way, Janie; when you're hot, you're hot. Well, maybe not so good.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
Nice it snowed here another six inches:) that is OK I like it at least it is warming up. B
ReplyDeleteMore fun! But we don't want the girls to end up with cold, muddy, wet feet. Foot rot is not fun; treating it is even less fun. Hope the warm-up comes soon!
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
You've reached the 30's! Nothing but blue skies ahead...
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful thought, Rosaria. But we can still get nasty spring storms in March (and even early April). The kind of storms that kill new-born calves and bring down power lines.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
Yea melting! Quick, make some snow ice cream while you can.
ReplyDeleteSigh. We are warm here today but expect a frigid day Wednesday. We can't put away those coats just yet!
Happy Thawing!
Don have the ingredients or the equipment for the ice cream. A good thought, Reffie. Thawing will be a happy thing. I believe it is the deep cold, more than the extended dark, that slows me down in the winter.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
This year I welcome spring much more than I have in the past - the winter has seemed endless everywhere. So happy warmer days are here for you too, Rob. Blessings for a sunny week ahead. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI entirely understand that thought about winter seeming so endless. Our -52C temperatures do not help the situation. As I mentioned to Reffie, it's the cold that gets to me.
DeleteHope you and your guard Airedale have a wonderful spring!
Blessings and Bear hugs!
Excitement was I arrived home from Utah to 70 degree weather. Bizarre, and up in Utah the snow is lower than half what it was in previous years...scary stuff
ReplyDeleteWhat on earth would you be doing in Utah? Trying to live like a Bear?
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
It's warm here 70F all week. We've had the door and windows open most days and nights.
ReplyDeleteAh, Mary: we are a long way form 70F. Like about 40 degrees. But the sun is getting up earlier, so we must be close to spring.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
The caniche and I woke to several inches of new snow and its still falling! It wont last long I suspect...spring (the season of the bald caniche)is approaching!
ReplyDeleteHope you and the Caniche stay warm, thought that may be a bit tough for Skip one he has been clipped, or shaved, or whatever.
DeleteBlessings and Bear hugs!
Brrr! Bear, those photos are lovely, but I could feel the icles starting; at least you're thawing out! Happy Spring days to you and lots of warmth!
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope your Irish Eyes are smiling at the development of spring on your side of the pond. Here, temperatures are around 0°C, and we are getting a slow melt (and not a flood!).
