And a challenging month it has been. Posting something every day, starts out as a "fun idea." In then becomes "the daily grind." And perhaps ends up as, "What am I going to do if I'm not posting something every day?" At least that's the way it seems for this old Bear.
After six months of winter, the warm air and sunshine are beginning to make their impression. And that is a good sign.
We've gone from this . . .
to this . . .
and from this . . .
and to this.
And we've gone from this . . .
to this.
So, it's time to get the horse out of the barn, and hit the trails.
Blessings and Bear hugs, eh?
Ah there should be no shortage of fair weather things to do... and to eventually share. Enjoy, Rob. :)
ReplyDeleteAnd I hope, in the midst of renovations, you've taken time to explore the world with Benny, and take some of your marvellous pictures!

The photos say it all.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Susan. If a picture is worth a thousand words, I've got a post of 8,000 plus, but very condensed.

I KNEW it, you are one of those cute bike-riding bears!
ReplyDeleteWell, Susie, let's look at it this way: NOBODY calls me a "cute bike-riding bear" and gets away with it. Your dreams will now be infested with thousands of Bears, all wanting to take you for supper. They'll probably want to have you roasted, but that remains to be seen.
DeleteDon't ever call me cute, and don't ever insinuate that I am so dull and low class as to have been trapped and put into a circus. Really, I am a bit brighter than that.
Otherwise, I hope you're having a wonderful Sunday!

You got it right. Summer just sneaked up while I was in the house reading blogs. Your pictures are the proof. I have yard work waiting for me after the A-z. See, there is life after blogging. Ha The guys are cutting off my old bushes today.
ReplyDeleteYard work. If it's anything than eating berries, I'm not interested. Why would anyone in her right mind want to play with flowers. They're not particularly nutritious, and usually taste terrible.

I'm so happy the Bear will finally be able to get out on his bike! The wind in your hair - isn't that what it's all about??
ReplyDeleteOh, yes. Actually, it's the wind in my fur — all my fur. Having been boxed up all winter, I may go a little crazy. If I somehow end up in a Zoo somewhere, will you come and rescue me? PLEASE?

Now that is some difference showing in those pictures! I think I'll also pump up the tires on my bike and join you! :-)
ReplyDeleteGiven your background, DJan, I can see you as a biker chic. Happy biking.

A very sweet someone used to say "I love you like a spring bear..." This post made me think of that today.I haven't thought of that in a while. Thanks.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the horse and the ride--youve waited long enough.
Spring Bear. Spring Bear. Exercise in rhetoric; spring as in adjective meaning, or verb meaning, or gerund? Way too complicated for this Bear.

It was an asian thing...The story goes something like this, there was a woman whose husband said "I love you like a spring bear." She didnt understand. He explained that in the spring baby bears are very joyful and happy and approach each other being very huggy. He said "I love you like that!"
DeleteWow! That is such a wonderful story, Zoe. Thank you so much for sharing it!

Ooh, ahh. I'm glad to see the ride is ready to go!
ReplyDeleteYeah, but Artie Smartypants is not going to be biking with me. That's been settled. Besides Leona would rather have him biking with her.

Yes, well; you needn't get too excited. This happens every year, or it has for a very long time. It's just that the arrival has been a bit untimely (see U as in Untimely).

Love the before and after photos. Ahhhh....spring has arrived for Bear.
ReplyDeleteAnd your steed looks so wonderful!
Happy riding to you, my friend.
Stay safe....
Hugs,
J.
Spring is finally here. Yes! A time for "horsing around," so to speak.
DeleteHope you have a wonderful spring, too!

It's so encouraging when you're finally able to see the grass again. And even better when the grass starts turning green again.
ReplyDeleteHave fun with the rest of a-z and enjoy your spring. :)
Yes! The grass turning green. That might happen after we get a good rain. Which, in fact, is predicted for this evening. If it doesn't snow.
DeleteHope you have a "strong finish" on your A-Z travels, too. Thanks for visiting.

"Posting something every day, starts out as a "fun idea." In then becomes "the daily grind." And perhaps ends up as, "What am I going to do if I'm not posting something every day?" so agree with this. It's been a hectic, enjoyable month. Bittersweet to see it end.
