IN WHICH BEAR'S MYSTERY ADVANCES

Aarg!

Grrrrrr!

The guy who said, "Tote that barge, lift that bale," had no idea how much work he was creating. Bear is appalled. Not to mention almost overwhelmed. This adventure is starting to feel like work.

I'll bet that writer was showboating! What a writer guy. As Bugs would say, "What a maroon!"

This adventure is not going smoothly at all! And here I thought it would. Sigh!

It's absolutely enough to make a good-natured Bear grumpy! Fortunately, this pneumonia has not done me in!

Blessings and Bear hugs, friends!

  1. What adventure, bear? Pneumonia is no adventure. But I'm glad to know you plan to overcome :-)

    1. We adventure despite the pneumonia. Bears are tough; they are also cuddly. Which side would you prefer to meet?

  5. A bear is as sturdy as a tall and robust oak tree. It takes a lot to bring it down.

  15. I use this quote often so you would think I could recall who said it but I don't sorry... anyway I think it might fit your situation which I truly hopes improves rapidly... The quote is...“An adventure is only an inconvenience rightly considered. An inconvenience is an adventure wrongly considered.”
Hope your head isn't too cloggy for this one! Wishing you well.

    1. Let me guess: a young woman who considers an inconvenience rightly is a miss-adventure?

But what of the Bear who wants to go over the mountain just to see what he can see? What inconvenience is he considering or not considering, rightly or wrongly?

Life can be so very complicated. Sigh!

      Blessings and Bear hugs!

  20. Not good. How'd you manage to get yourself into such a fix?

As the greeting cards say, "Get Well Soon!"

  21. Well I am still lost as a goose about where you are adventuring, but I hope your pneumonia is not slowing you down. Feel better and persevere on!

So glad you've dropped by the Bear's den. Please leave a note -- getting notes is such fun, and often informative. I'll get back to you, here or by e-mail, as soon as I can (or, if it's winter, after I wake up). 'Til then, please Bear with me.
